Karen`s Main Street Diner in Calais

The food was absolutely amazing, I had a western omelette and a grilled blueberry muffin; the service was just as pleasant.

Stopped here for lunch, and had an amazing pastrami sandwich. Food was very good and the prices were reasonable. Nice place right next to the town square. Also has an adjoining bar, so if you want a drink you can just order one.

Nice spot right on Main Street in Calais, and a great place to stop when traveling across the border from US to Canada. We have been here a few times for lunch, and it is a casual place with a good variety on the menu as well, and I really liked that they serve breakfast all day. Service is very quick and friendly, even though it was rather crowded when we were there. The omelets are excellent, and the Fish sandwich was outstanding as well.Prices are very reasonable, and I would definitely recommend Karen's for great food in a relaxed atmosphere.

We all enjoy a delicious breakfast every time we go! We make a yearly visit during our annual vacation to Wesley, ME because we like it so much.

Best wings in the area! A nice "real pub" atmosphere...and yes you can get a good Bloody Caesar here...Karen and her crew know how to make you feel at home...

Quick, fast service! The food was cooked perfect. It's one of the only places that knew how to cook eggs sunny and runny without my dad complaining!!!

A fun local place. Good honest food. Return a second time and they will recognize you. Go back for a third time and they will know who you are.Nothing fancy but great steaks and burgers. Strong drinks, reasonable prices.

Best burger and fish and chips in Calais

Main Street is quite depressed with many store fronts closed. Karen’s appears to be a bright spot. This is a diner, not fine dining (I do not believe such exists in the town). Staff are pleasant. The French fries were hot and perfectly crisped. My lobster role was decent. Sodas and ice tea come in plastic bottles so they do not brew their own. So if you want some of the basics, I would recommend this place.

was in town for 3 days and had breakfast all 3 days and kept coming back, friendly and awesome!Kept clean and bathrooms spotless. Love the OVERSIZED PANCAKES!!!!

I ate dinner at Karen's Korner Pub tonight. I've been in Calais 3 nights/week for work since early March and I only walked in tonight, my last night in Calais before I'm transferred to another paper mill. I am so upset for only going once! If I'm ever back in Calais I'm definitely coming back. 50 cent wings for happy hour? Count me in!

Good home cooked meals, friendly cafe, waitresses are great..they even remember what their customers favorite meals are. .your coffe is on the counter when you walk in the door!
